Yummy In My Tummy - GDP082

Happy Friday! It's been a bit since I've posted. I've been crafting up a storm but nothing I can share just yet. And I've been working on cleaning up and organizing my craft area so that's been real fun. Nope! Haha!! But I did have time to today to whip up this card real quick. Now that the retiring list is out, I need to use some of my favorites before I get all of the new goodies. Today I'm participating in the Global Design Project challenge again. Check it out HERE.  This week is a sketch challenge.

I chose to work with the super fun Yummy In My Tummy set. I LOVE this monster and I didn't get to use him enough. I wanted to use this monster for a fun birthday card so I combined this card with the Happy Celebrations set. I used the splatter image from the set to make the Lemon-Lime Twist background paper. I kind of made my own DSP and I think it looks a little camo-like. Then I used the Urban Underground DSP for the rest of the card. This chevron piece is my favorite from the bunch.

I stamped the monster on Bermuda Bay cardstock and cut him out. Then I stamped the Happy on to Pool Party ink and the Birthday To You on Peekaboo Peach cardstock. I like these colors together. Fun and bright. Then I just added a few enamel shapes for a little extra color. This card was fairly quick and simple but still looks so fun!

I hope you all play along with the challenge this week.

Make sure you get this guy before he's gone. Place a $30 or more order in my online store during the month of April using Hostess Code: CTVQJGPE and you  will be entered to win a Watercolor Wishes Card Kit!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
